Coronavirus Disease 2019 Information as of 06/14/2021
The Emerson School for Preschoolers followed Concord School District's decisions and requirements regarding procedures related to COVID-19. We ceased all in person gatherings on March 16th, 2020. We began remote and virtual engagement with families on March 23rd. We continued this engagement through the end of our school year on May 22nd. We closed out our year with the Emerson community on May 26th with a festive "Pick Up Parade."
We physically re-opened for our 2020-2021 school year. We had Emergency Child Care Program designation meaning when we reopened in September we were capable of and committed to providing care and education within the guidelines set forth by the Governor's Economic Reopening Task Force
Safer At Home: Child Care COVID-19 Reopening Guidance.
We engaged in dialogue with our enrolled families and navigated the year in person with open communication and intentional listening to ensure a safe, healthy and joyful preschool experience.
We will continue forward into the 2021-2022 school year with the lenses offered by the state guidelines, our program's philosophy and values and the collective hopes families express for their children's school experience.
Our 2021-2022 School Year begins the week of September 7th!
